Has anyone seen this commercial that tomorrow 3/16 the rockets are going to be at D&B? I can't find anything on Rockets.com about it.

Does anyone know the rockets phone number?

I am pretty sure that invites are sent to the public whom purchased half season or full season ticket packages. Thus, unless you have connections with D&B or are a (half/full) season ticket holder, then you will not be able to play Dance Dance Revolution with Eric Piatkowski.

It's Rockets Play Day, and it's an event at Dave and Buster's tonight for all full season, half season, and 12-pack holders. The Rockets will be there, hanging out, and playing video games with everybody else.

We started doing it last year. Fans said they wanted to be rewarded for supporting the team by getting more interaction with the players. After talking with the players, it became pretty clear that most of them were uncomfortable doing that the traditional way that teams do it -- by having a big formal banquet or dinner. But that they were comfortable hanging out and playing video games with fans and fans' kids. Last year's event went great. Most of the players stayed at the event well beyond the time frame that they committed to. Steve camped at the racing games, Cat played everything, Yao played the shoot-em-ups and said that they have even better games at the arcades he goes to in China, and Jaoquin was the pop-a-shot champeen.

I'd like to say we thought of it, but Seattle is the team that did it originally. We liked how theirs went so much that we started doing it here.

By the way, if you qualify for the event but didn't get an invite in the mail, you can call your ticket services rep at 713-627-DUNK and they'll make sure you're set up.

We sent one invite to each account -- you're supposed to bring as many people as the number of seats you bought, though.

If somebody only bought one seat and wants to bring a friend (one) we'll be fine -- we don't expect anyone to come out alone. And of course, everybody is encouraged to bring their kids. We wouldn't count them against the total.

So please if you did not buy a 12pack and up, dont show up cause your gonna make it hard for us the people that purchased a package to get in. Just make sure you buy a season package next season. Thanks

If you have the players and the cheerleaders in a room together. Who gets more attention?

What if we bought two packages that total 12 games? Or those that bought 3 six-game packages for a grand total of 18 games? Can I go now?

    Tim,

We are half season ticket holders, but didn't receive any tickets in the mail. Luckily a friend told us about it, otherwise we would have missed it totally. Why are they having it so early this year instead of after the season like last year? Is it because we will probably make the playoffs this year?

    Thanx

We actually had it in the last month of the season last year, too ... it was only a few weeks later on the calendar.

This is actually the latest we could have it -- the team's road schedule after today will make it impossible to do much at all from a personal appearance standpoint.

Thank you for the quick response Tim. Since we didn't receive any tickets should we be able to show up and tell them or names, show them our licenses, or show them our receipt to get in? Or do I need to get them to fax me paperwork to my office?

Just don't celebrate in front of Stevie tonight after winning the video game, or he may give you a forearm to the neck:eek:

Guess not, I did the same thing, bought one before the season and one before the allstar break and did not get anything.

I called the ticket offices last week about it and asked about it and they said what yall said, but mentioned that the 6 pack holders will get something too, any idea what it is Tim?

Tim already said what the 6-pack folks get. In a round-about way what he was saying is they will get nothing and like it
