According to the latest article from the Chronicle, there was some sort of miscommunication on that last play where Joe Johnson got the winning basket. Looks like there were some frustrated thoughts Cat had, it's not too hard to think he was blaming Yao for the breakdown. Let's just hope it was just frustration, not a harbinger of things to come. Clutch, please lock this thread if its already been discussd. The game thread does have like 17 pages of frustrated Rox fans =P

    Bad news.
Everyone should think about his own fault before blaming teamates.

Wasn't that A Griffin that was guarding Marion at the end of the fourth quarter?

Griffin fell for that fake shot by Barbosa and started cheating inside the 3-point arch to go get the rebound for some unknown reason. Then in mid-air Barbosa knows that he has just juked two of our players and has Marion wide open for a 3 to tie the game so he dishes it at the peak of his shooting stroke.

Game over. Bad defense in two areas: not playing the passing lanes and not staying right on your man for a grand total of 10 seconds.

That was a hard shot. The guy made it. End of story. Can't win 'em all. Yao had the sampson shot. Great play. just didn't fall. End of game.
