Well here's a question. When James starts out say 1-6 from three, how often does he finish 5/12? Because the gambler's fallacy says the next shot has a (whatever is season % is) chance shot of going in, regardless of his previous performance.

I think PJ looks unhappy because he really hates losing

That is easy James Harden decided he was not going to play, just half stepped the whole night on both ends.

That is not a good coaching strategy. Implement a scheme that has not been vetted properly.

Makimg drastic change without data or practice time to support the intrinsic change will lead to failure 99% of the time.

Harty has not even attempted a 3 ball this season, yet you are certain he can be 4 in this system??

Nevermind how much of a net negative on defense Harty becomes the further away he is from the basket.

Change simply for the sake of change is negligent, more it is ignorant.

That's what practice is for. All I know is until we get better forwards it could be worth a try or two The last 7 games House and Tucker have a combined average of 7 pts. Hartenstein might be interesting to try for 10 minutes anyway.

Harty should get those 10 mins, and more, playing 5 spot.

Clint needs to sit until he's 100%, he is no good in postseason playing like he has every other game with lingering foot injury.

The 3 and 4 spots needs legit upgrading. Harty is not that.

What? Its hard to understand your writing. Not just because of the bad punctuation and grammer either. No journalist in their right mind would start a sentence with a capital "But". Just because you put it in a spread sheet does not make it analytics.

Harden is a excellent 3pt shooter. It's him and the teams shot selection that is the elephant in the room. I said it before I will say it again. A wide open 3 is better than a pull up 3 with a hand in his face. Yes he can make them but it's not efficient. The point of this system is to be efficient. They lose site of that jacking up 3's thinking its 3 or die. Yes, mid range isn't ideal efficiency but sometimes a wide open 2 is better than a contested 3.

It does exist, nobody is reading the game right. It's free throw or three or die, and we on life support. Wish we could go back to Adelman's Princeton motion offense. If we can score under 7 seconds or less excellent, if not, we need to run efficient plays to our players strengths so our roles players can build confidence. They stand around watching Harden most of the season but when he's off a game we expect them to produce. It's just not logical.

This is a fascinating thread for those of us who actually like statistics.
To see the OP arbitrarily prune the sample size, and then churn out some stats was... interesting. To see him then flop out 4 theses which have no correlation to the cherry-picked data at all was... interesting.

Can't wait for the 3/4 season analysis.

Instead of arguing who was leader and who is not, show some statistics…i agreed.

Instead of stand out acting like a fantastic critic hands down, why not just put up your 3/4 analysis and statistics in the forum.
I gona a great interesting as well as hold my breath in reading your indepth analysts, based your day in day out cynical threads and elaborate wording…cant wait to see it around feb.

Do you know what either a cynic or narcissist is?

I look forward to the spreadsheet plumbing the depths of data on the subject
