voted for hubie. i don't like the grizz... but not many coaches can take what they have and make them one of the hottest teams in the league.

Almost voted for Sloan because of how well the Jazz did earlier in the season. In fact, as I type, I'm more convinced that I should have voted for him anyway. They've got Kirilenko and... who else? This is a team that seemed doomed to be the worst team in the West and they are one team removed from the playoffs. That's incredible work.

Hubie and Sloan is a toss up. I voted for Sloan because before the season started, everybody predicted the Jazz to be the doormat of the West. But are poise to keep their playoff streak alive.

I kind of knew I should have made this a smaller poll and kept JVG off. I'm surprised Terry Porter hasn't gotten a simgle vote yet.

This poll is invalid with the absence of Bzdelik of Denver. And strangely enough, there is talk of him losing his job if they don't make the playoffs.

Anyhow, talk about a team with low expectations, even with Carmello.

Denver and Memphis both have some talented high draft picks, plus some invaluable offseason signings. Sloan is doing his magic with guys who'd sit at the end of the bench for other teams. Unbelievably, if the Jazz were in the East, playing the schedule in the East, they'd likely be the 4th seed.

If the Jazz make the playoffs, Sloan should runaway with this award.

    But the Jazz still sucks!

I voted for Jerry Sloan. If the Jazz make the playoffs, he should win it in a landslide. I know Hubie's done an amazing job with the Grizzlies, but they played very well down the stretch last season so you figured they'd carry that momentum into this year.

What the hell did the Jazz have going for them coming into this season? They lost Stockton and Malone and then Harpring went down with an injury, yet here they are making a run at the 8th seed.

Porter should recieve more press for the job he is doing than he is currently recieving, but the overall cream of the crop is Sloan & Brown. In a year and a half, Hubie has taken a perennial loser and turned them into a very good team. & Sloan has done more with less talent than Jeriome Robertson.

Hubie is a good choice, but to me it's just gotta be Sloan. Hubie has talent to work with... they've had a fair bit of talent on that team for some time now. Sloan has Kirilenko and a bunch of trash. Hubie did a great job making talent mesh, Sloan turned a no-talent team into a playoff contender. Come on now.
