    he continues to gas up harden yet he ghosted him and the rockets. at this point, i don't really care what butler has to say about harden

    It makes me sad he didn't come here, clearly, he wanted his own team because if he thought Harden was the most unstoppable player he likely would have had some interest in playing with him.

    Butler on the Heat has been pretty awesome though, so can't blame him, it's a great fit.

    haters, media, and clueless casual fans will ignore Butler’s comments, or even a guy like D-Wade’s comments about Harden because it doesn’t fit their narrative

    his extension has him locked through the 21-22 season. his player option is the following year which hell be 34 by then

    Some players like Harden and Westbrook have actual morals, values and goals, and loyalty to their words. Butler was easily bought with a tour of Miami beaches and night life.... No chance, if Jimmy wanted to play with Harden it was going to be here.

    Butler has some rough family members around Houston from what I hear. Not surprised he doesn't want to be super close to them.

    There's some b****-made responses going on in here. Butler doesn't owe anyone ****. He went to Miami, where MOST people thought it was a bad move. Well guess what? MOST people were wrong. Butler has been balling out there. He wanted his own team, and now he's showing why. He fits the Riley/Spoelstra culture perfectly over there. He's complimenting Harden because he respects him....that's it, bottom line.
