well to be fair Watson wouldn't say on National TV O Brian sucks...that would be unprofessional so we really don't know what he thinks 100%
You bring back bill next year, it dont matter if the texans go 16-0, there will still be the aura of anxiousness in the air during that first divisional round game. From the fans to the media, they'd just be expecting the worst (and will eventually get it).
This was so embarrassing, at least the Cowboys got a new coach. I really hope BOB is released from his duties.
4th and 1 and fake punt were two of the most embarrassing coaching decisions I’ve ever seen in a football game
Then you haven't been watching football long. The 4th and 1 happens all the time. Coaches change their minds. The Fake Punt would have work if they had snapped it right away. For some reason...the up man hesitated and didn't call for the snap. Calling it at that time of the game......was the issue.
I just want to point out that this thread has been around since 2016..............and we still haven't done the necessary firing of this man.
The best thing about the Texans is BOB gives the Texans fans reasons to not have to blame refs for every loss.
The funny thing is you don't see this with other coaches. If KC loses next week, no one's going to be asking "should we fire Andy Reid?" After Baltimore's flameout, no one is asking "should we fire John Harbaugh?" Because everyone can see how those coaches improve their teams. I don't think anyone can the same about BoB. If they fired him, I don't think anyone would think they would take a step back next year, regardless of who they hire.
So I guess I underestimated things when I said, as it happened, that it was just the dumbest thing BoB has done as a coach in Houston.
Ask Bob what was he thinking about that fake punt in their own 30 yard, up over 2 scores? If he still thinks that was a good idea, then fire him on the spot. Imo, that was the turning point in the game. From that point on, the Texans lost all the mojo to win this game on the road.
