Go with your buddy. We won't be strict. Just come and have fun.

It's just a big thank you for fans that have supported us by buying at least a 12-pack. Last year's event was the first we ever held, and got great reviews from our fans. This is the second annual.

If you got an invite, that means you're among the group of fans that is most responsible for allowing us to have a team in Houston, and our goal is to act accordingly.

So a random buddy can go, but folks who purchased the 6-game packs that the Rockets were promoting get no love? We are not responsible for allowing the Rockets to have a team in Houston if we just bought a 6-pack?

Ouch. And today is the day us 6-pack folks were supposed to finalize the playoff packages. Hmmmm....

I think it is cheap of the Rockets to not recognize the 6-packers with some thanks. 6-pack is an investment for some folks.

The playoff renewals are all they want from the 6-packers at this moment. I will take my 6-pack in front of the tv screen for the playoffs and watch from home.

Whatever. I am going to get another job so I can afford to upgrade and get some recognition from the Rockets. My seats have my name on them. Better luck next time LongTime.

To be honest, we have capacity issues we have to deal with -- the event can only hold so many people.

We also consciously try to make the benefits better as you buy bigger plans. Our customers understand this and appreciate it. Actually, they ask that we do this. Many of them don't view buying a ticket plan as just buying a bunch of tickets -- they view it as a way to be part of the team. And they want additional rewards for investing more.

By the way, 6-pack holders still get the chance to buy playoff tickets before the general public. And they get the chance to "Yao-size" their 6-pack when they purchase it by adding additional games of their choice, without any service charge. For several of our games (Lakers, for example), getting a ticket was very difficult unless you bought a package. We had almost 6,000 mini-pack holders at the last Lakers game, for example, and only had 2,000 individual tickets left to put on sale -- and those sold out in October. There's some pretty good benefits to being a 6-pack holder.
