Which teams defense plays Yao straight up man on man?

    Lakers, San Antonio, Sacramento, Indiana, Orlando, Hornets. Any others?

    Boston- front and double team
    Miami- fronting
    Dallas- combination of zone, fronting
    utah- try to muscle Yao with AK on help side
    Seattle- double team and hard fouls

    Erik Dampier/Golden State did earlier this year, and Yao blew up in the 4th quarter.

    I would be curious to know how other teams choose to play Yao.. If anyone knows or had kept track.. It seems those teams listed that play one on one Yao blows up against those teams.. isn't that correct?

    New York also played him a lot of man to man. Mutombo got scorched though, and we won both games.

    not to start an EG thread - but you should try playing NBA Live 2004 - I wanted to create my own roster, but I could bring myself to cut EG, since he plays such solid D...

    Only one person plays Yao straight up... and that's Shaq. So give him props. Any other team plays him at least 4 on 1 (their center + 3 refs).
