This goes to show how outdated baseball is. MLB needs to get with the times and allow everyone to use video in order to learn the pitches. Even the playing field.
Blame the tv networks... there was never much point for them zooming in on the catcher showing the signs if not to showcase the analysts' expertise at deciphering the signs. At times, it seems like they'd zoom more in for one team vs the other... which makes me question their intent.
Baseball teams have been trying to get the upper hand one each other for decades. The players go to great extremes, heck even putting their life and lifelong heath at steak. Using steroids has to be done with a doctor, because if done incorrectly, you get shrinking manhoods, potential heart attacks, etc.... And when someone is covering up their tracks, many are not going to go to a real doctor, who himself can lose his license and face jail time..... Hence taking a gamble to dance within the lines of a sign stealing scheme isn’t too far fetched. Heck, it’s pretty obvious all team have a version of stealing signs. But some are more successful than others. To hear people want to give the equivalent of the TCU NCAA death penalty to the Astros is ridiculous. However, now since the Red Sox got implicated on sign stealing, the death penalty chanting has subsided considerably.
Funny that, isn't it? Yankees too. If Hinch has to sit out a year, whatever. I don't like it, but I can't do much about it. Hinch and Luhnow had better have company on the gallows. And not just from the Astros.

LOL, so the Astros is tainted for their title in 17, and the Red Sox will definitely facing the same punishment for the same act for their title in the 18. What is next? They will announce the Washington Walgreens actually use Viagra in 19 and the Astros will get a consolation trophy? Get over yourself.
