Howard was going up for a block and happened to foul the guy, that is part of the game. Even if he knew he was going to foul, why should he stop? That happens all the time, if you can stop the guy from scoring by fouling him, and it's not stupid because of the number of fouls you have, then you should, that's what Howard did. And I'm guessing in that quick time, Howard didn't think to himself, there's no way I can block a guy's shot who happens to be 6 inches shorter than me.

Late hits are part of the game, but they are hardly ever done like you described. They are normally done right as someone runs out of bounds or too long after the QB has thrown the ball. Never in my years of watching football have I seen something happen like happened to you.

I've seen numerous fouls like Howards.

As for the Tyson thing, you're calling Howard a loser, but you still support a raping, ear biting, old man punching lunatic. That's what I thought was funny.

well, it was a hard foul, but i believe it to be completely unintentional... and your thing about howard swinging his arms down more--well being a ball player myself, i can tell you that its very difficult to go full speed, fly in the air arms up in a 'forward' direction, go for the block/foul, --AND THEN try coming down with with arms STILL in the air. I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYONE NOR HAVE I DONE THIS... GO UP FOR A BLOCK/FOUL, AND COME BACK DOWN WITH MY ARMS STILL STRAIGHT IN THE AIR.

and it was pretty obvious he didn't mean it... he was genuinely concerned after the play, as soon as he landed, he immediately went over to anderson to see if he was ok. ITS ALL PART OF THE GAME... THEY PLAY THE GAME EVERYDAY, AND THE PLAYERS KNOW THAT THEY ASSUME THE RISKS THAT COME WITH THE GAME. I COMMEND HOWARD ON HIS SPORTSMANSHIP BY TRYING TO HELP ANDERSON AFTERWARD.

I really don't mind him being ejected from the game, but there should be no further action. It was an accident not intentional. I really hate the way the spurs keep dragging this thing on like Howard is a hired thug. Like when they said he did it again tonight in a less arguable play. The spurs need to show more class than this. If the spurs are real champs they'll face it and overcome it(they're doing good so far.)
