So surprising someone by throwing objects at a vehicle never turned deadly.

Like I said, it is dangerous. Lots of things are dangerous though that don't merit being SHOT.

It really depends on the size of the snowball and only IF they threw it on the front windshield, particularly the left side obstructing the man's direct vision of the road. If it hit anywhere outside of the front windshield it really has about a zero % dangerous effect. If you watch the video you can see it looks like a residential city street. The guy was probably going under 30 MPH, maybe even less to stop his car quick enough to shoot the kids.

It just seems like a weird thing to call out the kids on this, and say that they should be legally punished after they were ****ing shot.

I hope the guy gets 20 years without parole for 2 charges of attempted murder of minors. I'd want the man dead if this were my kids.

We used to do the old tie a bunch of cans to two ends of a string trick when I was young. That was fun for a while. Then we decided to fill cardboard boxes with bricks. Not so much fun. Never got caught and only did it once. I feel bad but it's good to get it off my chest. I'm pretty sure I've thrown a snowball at a car or two. I know someone I might know may have thrown eggs. I probably deserved one in the leg to tell you the truth. Growing up then is SO much different than it is now.

I did not say everyone should be charged equally. The guy shot them obviously should be charged to the full extent of the law, . Also getting by an object while driving what happens usually the driver panics making it a dangerous situation. So yes kids or whoever does that should get charged

the guy that shot them is a ****ing lunatic

I can't imagine any scenario when it would affect driving. If you are someone that drives in snow regularly, this shouldn't concern you at all. Snow flys off people's cars all the time and hits people's windshields. It isn't a big deal.

I keep reading comments like this along with comments about helicopter and bulldozer parents, participation trophies, and millennial parents needing to allow their kids to learn to fail.

So which is it? Do we need to hover over them 24/7 to ensure they never get on your lawn or can they make mistakes and learn from them as humans have done since the beginning of time?
