MemphisX seems to be a nice dude. If he's posting here, it seems like he gets to root for TWO teams on the rise. So... uh... appreciate him, I guess.
Good post MX - classy response. Obviously a major factor in the game was both teams missing a ton of 3 pointers - I think this game could have gone either way. Thankfully, the Rockets won! Btw, who do you want to face in the playoffs MemphisX?
Just like you guys, I want to face the Lakers or Spurs. I want our team's first playoff experience to be agianst a team that knows how to turn it up to championship intensity. That lesson will be very valuable.
LOL...our 7 game win streak put us out of the danger of slipping out of the playoffs. We are just thinking about positioning now.
It's good to have fans from other teams post here, as long as they're not trolls, and I never thought MemphisX was. Gives us something to stop fighting eachother about, and makes you see things more objectively.
You know, when MemphisX made the claim that Memphis will have a better record than the Rockets back before the season, I thought it was a joke and laughed at it. But got to be give props to the Grizzs. They're playing very well. Hope that prediction doesn't come true, but if it does, I wouldn't mind if MemphisX rubs it in a little.
Be careful when you say things like that. Utah can beat Memphis. All it takes is a few bad games and any of the final 3-4 playoff spots could sway to an outside team. It's still too close for the Rockets, Grizzlies, Nuggets or Mavs(of late, but best lock of the 4) to be talking about positioning.
Forget MemphisX - what I wanna know is what happened to that even-more-annoying little troll, silentfan.
Actually, he changed his sig from last year. He predicted the Grizzlies would be ahead of the Rockets before the beginning of last season. That was really a joke. This year, we could still end up ahead of them and make him change the sig one more time. In fact, this year is probably the only window they have for having a better record than us. We'll be even better next year. The Grizzlies overachieve this year. They won't get significantly better with the current roster. Maybe the Logo can make some magic happen in the offseason.
