Don't worry. Damntony called a timeout and we went on a 118-0 run to win the game thanks to great defense. He even called a challenge on a shot and got it ... took 2 pts away from the Sixers.

Besides turnovers, really enjoyed how we played. The first 10min of the game were terrible, but after that pretty pleased! Russ made me shake my head about 13 times tho. Man that is one bonehead of a superhero. I'm glad Harden & Capela kicked so much collective a55!
Also....I just wanna let you guys know despite not scoring any points Tucker was invaluable tonight. He was so goood on defense. Just goes to show even when Tucker cant score a single point he still is key in our wins.
Yet he gives House nearly 30 min a game for some unknown reason. Please get us that forward we need who can drive it in and score, along with bringing a mean defense. I mean, I absolutely love Tucker, for his effort, defense, mentoring, and just plain hustle but he doesn't score much. House is OK, but like the GEICO commercial quote, "Just OK is not OK" when it comes to winning a Championship. Still waiting on that pickup.

Key takeaways from tonight: 1) russ needs to shoot better at the line. Its unacceptable. Hes a max player guard who cant shoot but is a premier scorer at the rim...who cant shoot foul shots. Thats on him amd its got to improve 2) coach is hurting the team two ways1) poor player rotation decisions. He needs to stop playing McLamore. Rivers, House and EG give you more consistant shooting and they have other attributes. But if coach feels the need to go with a 9 or 10 man rotation then look at giving Gary Clark or Clemons some minutes. 2) he needs to start coaching defense. Whats holding us back is our defense. MDA should not be getting a pass on that. Then he compounds the problem by playing poor defensive players over good defensive players. Why is he playing Austin Rivers more; hes one of our best defenders who also happens to be a good shooter. 3) glad EG is back, but its gonna take a month for him to round into form. Until then i expect poor shooting and sloppy basketball. But i have no doubt that he will be a serious weapon by the all star beak. Have patience. 4) harden is playing the best basketball of his career. 5) capela doesnt get enough credit. He was actually the better player than Embid tonight. Folks need to get the las GS series out of their heads and recognize that Kerr outcoached MDA and took him out of the game. When we arent shooting well, throwing it up to Clint in the paint gives us a new look; he makes us so much more versitile. Folks need to stop talking about trading him.

Al good points. IF Capela can maintain this level of consistent play versus the likes of Embid and Russ can dunk the ball pushing the pace they very well could be a dangerous team in the playoffs... I'm still trying to figure out Daniel House.

There is no reason why we cant win a championship this year. If we can improve our defense and add a defensive 4 with length, we are there. I cant believe this board is forcing me to be the positive guy. We are still in early days with Russ; thats only gonna improve. And we just got EG back. This team will be better by the all star break.
