I am loving what I'm seeing from this team. Everyone wants to win. If you watch the bench, they are totally into it all game long. I remember against the Clippers the Rockets bench was pumped about the game, and the Clipps bench didn't even get pumped when they had some nice dunks. I love the fact that every guy on this team wants to win.

One thing I'm starting to like is Mo's. It's improved a lot this season. I think that he leads the Rockets in charges taken. And he's been hustling. He had 2 blocks tonight.

I am loving Cato's hustle. He has no offensive skills at all, but he works hard. He gets open for oops, rebounds the ball on both the defensive and offensive end, blocks shots, contests shots, and he flat out hustles. He had 5 offensive boards tonight against Memphis!

Jim Jackson has played amazing. He's hit so many clutch shots lately. Even in games where he wasn't feeling it, he woudl still make important shots. He is clutch. He had 20, 5, and 5 tonight. I like that. He had some clutch baskets, and he showed that he's still athletic for a 12 year vet, by dunking on Swift.

Yao's been playing awesome also. He's turning into something special. One thing that pisses me off is that the refs always let players hold him down low.

One thing that I love is that Steve Francis is so unselfish. Some people may call him a ball hog, but he is only taking 14 shots per game. He knows that if he distributes well, the Rockets have a great shot of winning and that he doesn't always have to dominate scoring wise. He's been playing awesome lately. The Rockets as a team have been playing excellent. The Rockets are now 39-26. We're at .600 and hopefully on our way to 50 wins and hopefully a playoff run.

Only that now that Steve Francis has decided to play his A Game , Yao Ming is not getting a fair shake at scoring anymore.

    are you kidding me?

i'd much rather the rockets not be a one man show. so francis sucked pretty bad for like 10 games in a row. in a few of those games yao averaged 30 points a game and we won anyway. i'm okay with that. but before the win streak we were playing inconsitant ball francis needs to play his A game for us to be consistent.

i'm okay with yao only getting 20 ppg as long as francis plays well and the rockets win.

yao getting 20 points per game is great. i dont get how anyone can be complaining now about yao's scoring, since he just was crowned the play of the week in the west.

The Rockets have been playing fantastic team ball during this streak. Kudos to the Rockets bench.

Are you kidding me? That is the lamest statement ever, so if we win it's not enough, Yao has to get 30? Please, think about what you're saying.

    second that...

Yetti has been on and off my I-List so manytimes...it isnt even funny.

but lately he has been on this "SF doesnt want to win and doesnt want Yao to do good" kick.....and when I called him out publicly about it...he didnt have the balls to defend his position.

No balls little wusses like Yetti deserve a permanent spot on the good old ignore list...but it does no good if people quote him....

Please dont quote Yetti.. a lot of people will thank you for it.

4 rockets in double digits. good distribution of the points with 47% shooting. and opponents were 39% and held to 80.

this is the game where we commend the entire team for showing up and getting it done. the way we played this game (talking about the whole team here) would be something we should all not mind seeing again.

    ? confused?

    First thing is winning, man.

If Griz like to spend two guys on holding YAO, SF can found the open(that means SF swing ball quick , the open one can knock down the ball at ~50%). I don't mind Yao only have 17ppg.

I think what we're seeing out of the Rockets is that winning is contagious. Once you change the attitude that losing, even closely, is acceptable everyone starts playing harder and better.

Vikings' Coach Mike Tice when asked why the Vikings had so many problems in the second half of the season vs. the first half when they started 6-0 said "winning solves a lot of problems while losing exposes a them." I think we are seeing that with the Rox right now. We know that they are still capable of making boneheaded plays and Yao ccould still play timid but as long as they win we and they appreciate their excellence more than their mediocrity.
