Wow, what a contribution in a high scoring affair. Even though he is on a sorry team, he is showing some stuff....
nWo34Life, I agree with you. I really liked JC's hustle when he was here & felt that he never really got a chance to develop his game. It's good to see him doing well in his first 3 games back. Game 1 33 minutes 4-9 FGM/A 8-8 FTM/A 5 Rebounds 0 Blocks 5 PF's 16 PTS Game 2 31 minutes 4-7 FGM/A 3-4 FTM/A 3 Rebounds 1 Blocks 5 PF's 11 PTS Game 3 26 minutes 7-8 FGM/A 8-9 FTM/A 5 Rebounds 1 Blocks 6 PF's 22 PTS He's going to have to watch those fouls though.
Guys we let a player go that leads the NBA....in Fouls per Game. I bet Mike Wilks can go for 20 a night if he played on Atlanta.
So, you're saying you wouldn't want that kind of scoring from a reserve player, just because he's getting a lot of fouls? I don't think anyone here believes that Collier will ever be more than a solid role player. But, a guy that size, that works hard on the floor & has a nice shooting touch, could help most teams. Besides, the fouls will most likely taper off in time. Although, 3 games does not a career make. It's just good to see that what Rudy saw in Collier, may actually be starting to come out.
I like Collier. I think he did not get a good shake here he could not find a way to get in But he had a good shot and soft hands [the man could catch the ball in traffic unlike Cato] Rocket River glad to see him doing well
