    4th quarter defense was nonexistent.

This is a perfect example of a game that prohibits fans from having any confidence in Houston sports teams.

Not sure that has much to do with what I said, but okay. I agree with what you said.

Well, I donno what it is dude, all I know is, as soon as our starting lineup gets taken out, this team starts hemorrhaging points like its no tomorrow.

This is a G-League team without Harden. We've seen plucky underdog teams keep it close only to get blown out in clutch time.

    We suck hard.

No idea why anyone's getting excited we kept it close against the 2nd worst team in the West

Tough loss but quite proud how role players played for most of the game considering main stars were sitting out and Gordon barely getting back on track. NOP just got hot shooting wise in the 4th.

Doesn’t explain how everybody stands around and watches Westbrook isolate when Harden is on the bench.

Rockets always trying to trade for talent instead of nurturing their own. Hartenstein and Gary would have been ready if they were given all the minutes last year..

It was the same last year, and it was the same two years ago during Dantoni's first year. You need defensive talent to win games, you need guys who can stay in front of their man, its not as much of a coaching issue as it is a roster issue.

We lost tonight because we had young players who have no experience closing out NBA games. It's clear from the product on the court for the first 3 quarters that ball movement does help with scoring opportunities.

No one saying that Harden iso shouldn't be our go to bread and butter. We are saying that we should mix it up and not make defenses memorize our offensive tendencies so easily.

WTF? This post falls right in line with classic clutchfans reactions. They played without their best 3 players, the outcome and anything discerned from it is completely meaningless. It was a wasted easy victory, but out of their hands.

Harty is a cool player but nothing about him is untouchable. I’ve noticed that every fan base tends to overrate their young players for some reason. I’ve yet to understand the fascination some of you guys have with Gary Clark. Lol

I just am laughing at this point. 4th quarter offense is just wildly bad. Consistently.

Lol no. We missed Westbrook and Capella along with EG having minute restrictions also. That is A LOT of prices missing.

The clear explanation, as far as I can see it, is that having players like Paul, Westbrook and especially Harden have made MDA some what lazy. It’s easy to take greatness for granted.

Correct, even with WB and w/o JH this is barely a 0.50 team in the West.

I'm not saying he's untouchable. Just saying that of we seem short on another solid defensive big, iHart seems to be that guy so a trade for a competent defensive big might not be necessary.
