Damn - don't look now, but we're no longer trying to catch up to the Grizz. We're trying to catch up to Dallas - the Grizz are now a game and a half ahead of Dallas. They picked a helluva time for a 7 game streak.

    rankings after tonight:
    1) Sac .738
    2) Minn .697
    3) San An .667
    4) Lakers .646
    5) Grizz .631
    6) Dall .625
    7) Hou .594
    8) Den .522

Yao is going to need some serious help from Cato tonight, especialy on the defensive end of the court. So, I wouldn't be suprised if one of the keys to the game was for our frount-court to stay out of foul trouble.

    Useless.

The Grizzlies are the deepest team in the league, and aside from that, none of their players played more than 34 minutes last night, nor do any of them average anywhere near 40 minutes a game.

We're going to have to pull this one out fair and square. They're already without Mike Miller, so if Battier or J-Will don't get suddenly hot from the outside, then I think we have this one in the bag.

We're not trying to catch the grizz any more. We're trying to catch Dallas. The grizz passed Dallas in standings.

    Useless?

I wouldn't call an off-night shooting, foul trouble or injuries useless. :)

    Go Rockets!!

Who said anything about standings? I was refering to the schedule makers. :)

But now that you've mentioned it, I think the Rockets have a great chance of catching up with the Lakers, Mavericks and the Teddy Bears.

WE DO NOT WANT TO MOVE INTO THE SIXTH SEED....For god's sakes I'd MUCH rather play the Timberwolves than the SPurs...WAKE UP people, it does not matter what seed you're in, it matter WHO YOU MATCH UP WITH BETTER....

At this point, I don't care who we play, as long as we win the most games!!!

As impossible as it sounds, we may have a chance to move upt o #4 seed. That mean homecourt advantage!

staying passive doesn't gurantee a match up agianst Minny. who knows whether they will slip down one or two spots? The best thing to do here is to catch up Grizz and Mavs here and stay close to them and decide what to do at the end. Just keep all the options open.
