1. Mda is in heaven knowing Capela is out. 2. Rumors about trading Russel are true, Tilman puts pressure on Morey to fix things up 3. I think Harden is quitting on MDa for subbing him so much 2 games ago. This game will tell alot.
It won’t happen because instead of proactively resting players , we will try to play them through injury . Capela was hurt the last couple of games . MDA knew he was hobbled . MDA didn’t care If the injury staff doesn’t say OUT , there’s a chance he’ll play you 40 minutes , and it’s a good chance too . Our load management approach is draconian.
The Rockets have had like 5 straight games against trash teams at home where they’ve played down to their competition and either have lost or have had a near win. They never care to just play their hardest and beat a lesser team. I expect tonight to be close. Rockets effort level likely to be where it usually is. They don’t put away lesser teams.
Of course Gordon is coming back tomorrow, but our starting center is out 2 games with an injury. Of course.
So Capela is out tonight and likely tomorrow night? Looks like those 29 minutes in a losing game against the lowly Warriors may have cost us Clint for 2 games. I’d call that poor player management, yet Hartenstein couldn’t get off the bench, not even for 5 or 10 minutes. Is it crazy to think that it was a perfect time to use him if we are ever going to? What’s the point of even having the guy if he can’t find minutes in a situation like that? He’ll get a chance tonight. I’d rather have had Clint sit out the last game. MDA can be a stubborn b*stard at times.
Nets have *never* won b2b games @ Rockets. They won last season @ Toyota. Avoid notorious history tonight, playas.
Rockets are 5-0 when Hartenstein plays 10+ minutes. We'll win tonight if he plays 10+ minutes, making it 6-0 when he gets decent minutes. Instead of running Capela and Tucker into the ground, play Hartenstein. Seems pretty damn obvious.
sadly have to rely on Ackerman on the radio tonight. I'm in the Nets blackout zone and Yes network is no longer on Sling. . so like @hakeem94 I'm relying on the haters' narratives tonight for energy.
