Fairly sure based on what? We had Dwight choose us in 2013, CP3 choose us in 2017, and Westbrook choose us for a trade this summer because of Harden.

People act like guys don't want to play with dominant players like Harden or Lebron, but they actually get premier free agents from time to time whereas an absolute off-ball legend like Dirk never had a major free agent choose Dallas despite having cap space several years in a row. Not unless you count Chandler Parson as a major free agent.

Which in the end makes sense and isn't that surprising. Except that he has had opportunities to be THE guy in Chicago, at least. And he still pushed his way out of there.

I don’t quite remember but wasn’t Rose still on those teams?

Initially, yes, but it was Jimmy's team by the time he wanted out.

Maybe he always felt the shadow of Rose over him since they played together. No such thing is happening in Miami. Plus he gets the south beach lifestyle.

You forgot 2nd Rate....non-star. We get the same from D.House, who is actually from Houston, not some Tomball suburb.

    Westbrook >Butler
