He will make a great politician one day.

    Perfectly ambiguos responses.

Perfectly ambiguos, pre-planned, absolutely canned responses.

He said nothing in that interview that seemed significant to me.

Interesting that he and Jason Williams are watching this game together.

I wonder if they tried to get Costas to take a bong hit.

He didn't give any hints. He said it was a possiblity he would stay in sac, or go to teams like det, ind, hou, orl, la, or ny. He really needs a smaller list.

I don't think so, Costas didn't once ask Webber to feel his nipples.

I like his resolve to make a decision BEFORE the draft. That is very good news to me.

He gave us nothing. He language indicates that he's willing to go just about anywhere, Detroit, Washington, etc.......

Well, no. He didn't infer he would go anywhere.

Washington? Out. He seemed uncertain of the team's future.

Detroit? Sacramento? He said the right things.

His comment about making a decision around the draft, well, I'd like to make too much out of that. To make a decision that early would mean one of two teams. And I don't think he'll stay in Sacramento.

Of course, Joe Dumars was just quoted as saying he's taken a lot of calls to be the conduit for three-way trades, so Webber could go in a 3-way trade anyway.

One of Costas' first comments: "People are surprised you're still here in Sacramento because it's boring as **** (paraphrasing)..."

Webber didn't exactly deny that one.

He seemed like he was trying to dispell the rumors about him going to New York, Orlando, and Indiana.

I think his canned responses were designed to reveal as little as possible. At least he did not rule Houston out.

He did say, like three to four times, he want's to play for a team that could win a championship. I'm not saying that means anything, but it was certainly the thing on his mind. That narrows it down to Orlando, Sacramento, Houston, NY or LA (not likely based on interview). Putting myself into Chris Webber's shoes, that would be Orlando, but we all know there are some problems with putting him in that uniform. So I'd say this may come down to Sacramento and New York. We all consider Houston a threat to win it all, but I doubt the rest of the league does. His comments would lead me to believe he won't be here. I think he's headed East.

Just waist of a half time for me. I tried to listen very carefully to his comments and I really couldn't tell anything from it. Only thing that bothered me was that costas mentioned Houston first, and not Webber. Webber did give props to Steve and The Cat though. I don't care anymore. I just think we need to keep Mo.
