Dayum. You sure aren't happy. Maybe you should change your name to psychoricky?

And Yao is too tall to score a 69 and no I'm not joking. :p

69 for yao would require an extremely tall woman

Pretty much agree. His stamina, coupled with zones, give him little chance to get that many shots.

I think Shaq scored more than 60 only once, and that was when zones were illegal (I think).

What is up with Yao's stamina anyways? If he could boost his minutes per from where it is (about 32) to real starter's minutes (somewhere around 38), he would already be a 20-10 guy.

Has there been a thread about this?

I think next season could be his breakout year. With Del Harris coaching the Chinese NT, I wouldn't expect Yao to have to go through a grueling training regimine during the summer. There is the olympics, which will be just a handful of games for Yao. So there is a great chance he will be here for a full training camp with lots of rest.

So overall, there is little reason not to expect 20/10 (or close to) from yao next year. If stamina is still an issue next season, then it will always be an issue.

Take off the zone and he will score 62. Other than that, forget it.
Yao might need 6 OTs to get there.

All of you do realize that all those players had 25+ FGMs (your guess how many shots they took) and on average ~15FTMs in eras without the zone and with much easier D right? What makes any of you think Yao is selfish enough to EVER take that many shots.
