He is averaging 14.3 points and a team-leading 8.5 rebounds for New York, which was 29-35 going into Tuesday night's game against Boston. "Rewarding Kurt for his hard work and devotion to the organization is the reason we have given him this extension," said Knicks' president of basketball operations Isiah Thomas.
