david, philippines: ive got texas questions for you.. is it just me or does steve nash looks like the lead vocalist of incubus? and does the rockets have what it takes to upset any of the big five in case they go in the playoffs?

Tom Tolbert: Im not an Incubus fan so I can't help you out tehre, but I do know that Nash needs some volume, he needs some Breck. I said last week that Houston could upset some people. I think Minnesota for example could have some problems with Houston. They will grind it out and make it ugly and they could beat anybody ... maybe not Sacramento with their three big guys to throw at Yao, but sure, Houston could surprise somebody.

Minnesota's main problem as always will be that Kevin Garnett is not an inside force and is playing out of position. This problem was clearly exposed down the stretch in the last meeting against the Rockets when he was being forced out of the paint by the Rockets' big men. If Sam Cassell isn't lighting Francis up, that team has very little shot at beating the Rockets in my opinion. It would be the absolute best matchup of the teams ahead of the Rockets.

I really think Kevin Garnett would best be served playing some kind of hybrid small and power forward position. He has the same problem every year in the playoffs when the game slows down and teams play the inside out game. He's just not strong enough.

    There's a curse in Minnesota.
The T-Wolves won't get out of the first round for a very long time.
I hope the Rockets play them in the first round and knock them off.
Then alot of people would doubt even further the team minnesota has. The Rockets (With less than 10 turnovers a game)
    Are better than Minnesota IMO.

Oh yeah, and it's true. I saw the video for that song, it goes something like your no jesus no fu***ng Elvis. I was seriously thinking that was Steve Nash. Could they be long lost twins? Could anyone post a pic and compare the two?

The problem with KG is that he is not a post player. To succeed in playoffs, you need to play consistently in the post. Duncan does that, Shaq does that, Webber does that, Yao can do that. But not KG.

    Webber?

Chris consistently roamed around the perimeter and jacking up 15-20 footers all the time.

The Kings has no really inside force. However, they have 6 jump shooters on the team (Webber, Miller, Bibby, Peja, Jackson, Christie) and two of them are among the best pure shooters in the league (Peja, Bibby). And hell, their perimeter guys do know how to play P&R and hide behind their big guys for jumpers!

Talking about Minny, how can Kandyman be so bad? Has he regressed so much?

Last season he could hold his own against Yao. This season he cannot even hold Yao's jock.

I think Kandi's work ethic has been suspect all his career. I imagine last year was different because it was a contract year.
