I wonder how many untold millions/billions it costs us, Joe Taxpayer, every year to help care for morons who smoke/vape.

Is 18 even considered being an adult anymore?

It's old enough to legally sign up for war.

Perhaps they should also raise the draft age and voting age to 21 and over? Why not raise the legal driving age also while they are at it?

If they think 18 year olds are so immature and are unable to function as adults in deciding what they want to purchase, then surely they are not responsible enough to be drafted for a war or even to vote for the politicians who make the laws. They can either treat 18 year olds as adults or treat them like children but they should be consistent with it.

There needs to be a maximum age to be a politician.

There are two separate crises going on. One is teen vaping epidemic , one is deadly black market thc cartridges. These vaping summits only bring the e juice lobbyists.

I agree 100%. They should be consistent. However, I would in fact support raising those ages. And if we’re going to pick a largely arbitrary number, why not 20 for everything? You’re no longer a teenager and it’s a solid round number. More than anything, I don’t trust 18 year olds with the capacity to vote. #OkBoomer, I know. But I’m only 27 so I can say that lol
