Dolemite feels like the return of the classic 80's Eddie.

Just noticed that you're asking 2 different questions. If you want to know the defining moment in Eddie's career, and not his best film, that answer would be Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood. Or Buckwheat Sings.

Trading Places...and it isn't close as far as I'm concerned.

Raw and Delirious will ALWAYS stand tall in their genre.

That stuff at the amusement park was the bomb. Was that a Centurion from Battlestar Galactica? What a hoot!

I love both Trading Places and Delirious. Tried to watch Dolemite yesterday, but ended up cutting it off about 1/3 of the way through. I really wanted to like but it just wasn’t working.

Agreed> I love Eddie, but it was just boring.

Please let us know if it is worth the extra hour.

That's understandable. It is a netflix film, it's watchable for the most part. It made me want to watch the original Rudy Ray Moore films more.
