    In a fantasy world, where Trump has the guts to take the stand, Trump takes the stand and Tom Cruise asks him - - "Did you order the quid pro quo?!?!?!?" and Trump says "You're ******* right I did!!!!".

    Again Republican lawmakers apparently have never heard of circumstantial evidence. People are convicted every single day based on circumstantial evidence.

    What the Senate Republicans have decided is that no evidence is sufficient unless the President comes out and admits he violated the Constitution and even then I suspect they will claim any comments by the President were in jest or out of context.

    Unless Gulliani flips Trump is fine.

    If someone shows up and says that they specifically heard him say 'quid pro quo' the goal posts will shift to 'there is no audio recording to prove he said it'.

    The actual goalpost is irrelevant, the important part is that it is just over the horizon, tantalizingly out of reach.
