Brah, The GOP base chose a candidate out of a field of 17 that started his GOP career trying to find Obama's birth certificate in Kenya. You obviously have a major blind spot for the prevelence of right wing fanaticism. Spend four years in Marine infantry barracks and you would know exactly what I mean. I've spent the past decade in both bubbles, from Marine Infantry barracks to one of the most liberal universities in the country even though my field is in STEM and I can safely conclude that the the right wing bubble is far more intolerant of any views slightly differentiating from the narrative. The "far left" wants an economic system similar to Canada. The "far right" wants an ethnostate in a nation that already has a massive amount of non Caucasians deeply imbedded in the nation. Now tell me which end state is easier to defend on a moral basis where morderates are more likely to sympathise and defend? The right wing has co-opted the term "Communism" which tradionally means the elimination of private property to any desire to expand social programs that mimic almost most of the developed world. Congrats on being successfully brainwashed buyng into said co-opting.
