It was still impressive. Lakers came back with Lebron and AD on the bench. NBA castoff, Dwight Howard, anchored the second unit to 15 straight points.
Lakers looking good, but they still aren't Warriors good. Rockets might still have a chance. It's looking bleak. Harden will have to average 40 and Westbrook a triple double.
Rockets have zero way of stopping LeBron or Davis, and the Lakers defense is miles better than Houston’s.
As of right now they are a really good team but nothing to the likes of the Warriors. Rockets have time, I think it requires a roster change or so but AD and Lebron are not guaranteed in any way to make it through 82 games healthy and same goes for Kawhi and PG. Harden and WB have been very good about being durable. If I had to make a prediction for a 7 game series it would be a toss-up, knowing the likes of Harden and what he has gone through in the last 2 seasons, shouldn't put it past him to beat really any team RN if he gets it going. @DreamShook For reminders, he beat GS twice literally by himself last year. Close to doing it 3 times had he even had Chris show up outside of more than Gm 6
Idk I feel like we all like to create off small sample sizes. Lebron is looking good rn because hes fresh. Same with AD. Harden and Westbrook will get it together soon. Thing is with jump shooting team and with the pace we’re playing at, we won’t get to our peak defensively until we all get into shape. Eric Gordon’s jumpers aren’t falling at the end of games because he isn’t in shape. Typically a lot of our team doesn’t start rolling until decemberish. Defensive woes, will come down to Capela growing some balls learning from Tyson Chandler and maybe adding a Jae Crowder
