Nope. It won't work unless we win a championship. o_O

It’s not an assumption. It’s empirically true that your offense improves because you get more open looks.

The defense-pace link is less measurable, because it’s more a function of how aggressive your offensive rebounding strategy is.

I’m just pointing out that people don’t believe an increase in pace is good for no reason, or base it on assumptions. It’s very much based on measurable outcomes.

NBA.tv guy Tim Doyle saying right now Westbrook is the most expensive point guard in fantasy basketball--says a lot of credit should go to MDA for creating a system where Westbrook thrives. Compares Westbrook to {cough} Linsanity.

That's interesting, I hadn't heard that. Can you post a source? I'd like to read about it.

Russ continues to do all the important things that can just turn a seemingly sure loss around. The aggression he brings to our rebounding is what I love the most.

Too early to look at graphics like this. Same as overreacting to Harden's horrible three point percentage. Stats don't mean anything after a week of basketball.

I’ll probably have time in a couple of days to whip something up, but if you want to do it yourself sooner, just explore the link between pace and TS%.

And this is early in the season with not so grade chemistry and sloppy plays. I can't wait to see the comparison as the season progresses and players are more comfortable with each other on the court.

Those are sick! Saw him wearing those in the last game, they looked good.

It's not empirically true. It can't be. You are absolutely right that there's a such thing as "too fast". At some point things just get sloppy.

I don't know how he gets off talking that way. How can there be no downsides? Why isn't Ish Smith making 40 million a year if this is empirically true?

I like the guys direction he's arguing (a lot actually) but trying to argue your point off the court is hubris.

apples to oranges. harden's and other's shooting will go back to averages

no ones saying WB will shoot 3 pters and midrange better. he just stopped shooting 3 pointers and midrange and scoring everything at the rim

Russ has truly been great so far...he’s picking his spots, and he’s made big plays in every 4th quarter so far whether it’s a clutch shot, getting to the line, getting boards, or just upping the energy of the team

we all knew it was only a matter of time before Harden got going

thank u Tilman for forcing this trade
