Nationals probably wont make the playoffs next year. They'll be trash next year just like Boston was this year......lol I know nothing about baseball, these are just my hopes.
I feel like every pitcher he put in when he put them in was kind of like "really?!? that guy.... right now??" guess if it worked he's a genius... but it didn't, lol... so... he's not.
Amazing how every home game has gone almost exactly the same. Astros get runs early Leave a million runners stranded Nats get 1 big hit to go up Astros struggle to catch up Nats have a big inning to completely shut the door on a comeback. Repeat 4x
Hopefully we can hold this to no runs and get some runners on for Bregman in the bottom of the ninth. Let him make grandpa proud in the best of ways. Win in spite of AJ, much like Texans fans claim we do in spite of O'Brien.
Wish we wouldve gone with Cole here. Urquidy is great but it is a lot of pressure for rookie to pitch 1 out with bases loaded
I don’t know that people are turning on Harris. It’s that he got hit yesterday and has pitched 12 times this postseason. Dude has to be tired. We saw it with the Dodgers bullpen in 17 and the Rays and Yankees pens this postseason...eventually fatigue sets in. Got to manage those bullpen arms a little more judiciously. Meanwhile Greinke was 80 pitches and still dealing.
Lmao holy hell I forgot about Urquidy why not bring him in instead of Harris after the gem of a game he had
You give Greinke another batter+ and bring in Harris or Smith if a 2nd guy gets on. Somebody could have started the 8th with a clean slate after Osuna got out of the 7th. Lots of 2nd guessing for Hinch this offseason unless something amazing happens.
27 missed 3s was still worse. At least Astros won in 2017; it sucks but it hurts less. Rockets made me flat out depressed.
