    I'm all-in on embracing the All Star game level defense if it means we (and our opponents) will put up 150+ every night. That would be fun.

    Gordon can’t be traded this season after signing his extension...he’s turning 31 in December, it makes no sense to trade a Robert Covington for him to begin with anyways

    What don't you understand?

    1. Towns and Embiid got into a fight. They might see a suspension.

    2. If Towns is suspended for a long enough period the TWolves aren't making the playoffs

    3. TWolves might be willing to send out their slightly older players. Covington is top of the list for us.

    4. Gordon for Covington is the obvious trade for us.

    5. We will need to include Draft picks to keep TWolves happy.

    To respond to the OP: The last thing we need is someone with good O and questionable D. If we're into that we could just pick up Manimal for cheap. Our O is on track to be elite again.

    Covington would be sweet though.

    Lol, how long of a suspension do you think they’ll get for that wrestling match? Last year Paul got, what... 3-4 games for throwing a punch? Doubt they serve that long, and for sure it won’t affect their run at the playoffs. The season just started.

    What I crave is a starting caliber 3&D 4 that can push Tucker to the 3 spot …. and House / EG to the bench.

    Preferably 6'9" or taller.

    I’d give up tucker for a legit wing player. Love tuck but he can’t stay in front of the quicker players and is too undersized to guard the front court.

    I think Kevin Love has actually gotten a lot better defensively over the years... as he learned how to "win" during those 4 years. Heck he has a 102 DRtg this year, even though Cleveland's as a whole is 108.2 (17th in the league)...

    I'd be more concerned about injury risk and what it takes to get him.

    Like give me KLove for free, and that would be amazing. But is it really an improvement if you have to trade Capela for him? He kind of needs a Capela like player to play next to?

    He probably doesn’t understand why the Wolves would trade Covington for Gordon, since Gordon offers literally nothing that the wolves want, and our remaining draft picks are shitty.
