Hey can we bring back a stamp tax Also hey let us cut the military budget and house the soldiers in our civilians' homes. That and we can open our borders to house immigrants. Especially in the homes of celebrities and starbucks socialists in california who don't like borders and think they are racist. Especially the larger mansions. Also tea ,or coffee, today should also be taxed with other luxuries like high end import cars and iphones.
I have said it many times, GOP at its very core is a party for the rich. However, you can not have just the rich votes to get in power, that's why all the social issues to get the voters at the bottom to vote against their self interests.
Can someone explain what this chart is supposed to be showing. It doesn't have any labels. I assume it's effective tax rates, but I have a hard time believing the bottom 50% are paying an effective tax rate of 24%.
on average probably but yes we need more details like what's the annual gross income cutoff for Middle 50%, Bottom 40%, Top 10%, etc
I think it includes all taxes. Things like sales tax property tax etc. For example ss tax is capped at like 130k.
