Two things Rox has to do to beat the Mavericks:

    1. Control the tempo of the game
    2. Good outside shooting

I do not see it happening. Rox will lose.

Rox will win by a large margin. Say 18 pts.

Hopefully we learned something about attacking a zone in Minny - cause we're gonna see zone today - - on the way out the door to Toyota now, so we'll see if we've learned anything. - - Really tired of letting Dallas off the hook in the 4th after big early leads

Play smart and with discipline, we are winning the game.
Then losing discipline, we give the game away.

If the Rockes pick up the defense further out on the floor than normal that will be a huge factor. Dallas even when falling behind, always comes up with a barage of shooting that sinks us. That's be cause we run back on defense and prepare to shut down the inside. Normally that's a great idea. Against Dallas it allows them to move the ball and get the open outside shots they need. If the Rockets pick up their defensive assignement farther out on the floor, that could go a long way to helping us get a win.

Should be a good game. I'm anxious to find out if our 2 stars steve and yao can continue their recent surge. If they can start off hot and force the mavs away from the zone, we should have a great chance of bagging this game. And pls, someone stop dirk from torching us. He is averaging what against us? 24+ points? Watch out for bradley. He is always pumped up when playing against yao. Audio links anyone?

That last pass by Francis on the fast break is a text book reason why a lot of people on this board have a problem with Steve Francis. Given his size and speed that is supposed to be one of his strengths.

14 points in 6 minutes. Oh yeah! That is sweet! Even sweeter, Rockets on top 21-20 5 minutes to go. I hope Dallas finally starts to miss.:)

WHy the hell Rox keeps turning the ball over. That's 4 times in a row....really pathetic. Talk about self-destruct...this is what Vandy Gundy has been preaching...don't kill urself, let the other team kill u. Francis ..man he sucks at passing. That behind the back just demonstrate how pathetic he is and how he IS NOT a PG. In that particular transition, he should wait a little bit and make the simple pass to Yao for the dunk.
