ClutchFans Game Thread: Bucks @ Rockets 10/24/2019

Everyone keeps talking about offensive issues, but championship level teams win this type of game on defense after having a 16 point halftime lead.

 

I was expecting worst but come on it wasn't to shabby for most of the game.
The defense does need to improve drastically though.

 

Once again can't play Capela in the 4th.

 

I agree at this point, it may seem overreaction-y but I get tired of these small ball lineups when the other team is clearly taking advantage of it.

They were clearly...CLEARLY throwing it down to Lopez to exploit it...CLEARLY...and he does nothing but watches it happen over and over and over again.

Play damn Capela and Chandler, we had the lead with them, we got the lead playing big, it ain't all about hitting 3s.

 

PJ is too short to be a 4, way too short to be a 5. Someone get the memo to Coach.

 

How many minutes did Chandler play in the second half? Was dunking all over everyone in the first and manning the lane on D as well, of course Mike doesn't like those things so he nails him to the bench down the stretch. ****ing small ball and three point spamming is this team's biggest weakness but they act like it's a strength.

 

MDA still has no adjustments at all.

 

Should of played Rhino......

 

Harden and Dumbtoni STILL haven't figured out this defense.

Harden's percentages are HORRIBLE vs. Bucks & Jazz since Coach Bud figured out how to stop Harden.

Ever since he introduced that gimmick defense, it has brought out the absolute worst in harden.

Take the lane if the continue to give it to you. Stop forcing 3's that are clearly uncomfortable to you. It's not that ****ind hard. A complete idiot can see how much you suck when they defend you that way.

 

Sad start to the season. It’s clear to see that nothing has changed and they still can’t hold leads.

 

Too much Russ equals too little Harden. Also- Russ shot like 3/7 from three. That will not happen every night and Houston still lost.

 

i noted in the beginning that the bucks were getting wide open looks in the first half. eventually they would fall. just bc they were missing doesnt mean the defense was good. they've got a long way to go on that side of the ball. and also playing fast all the time leaves the rockets vulnerable to giving up leads

 

What a surprise Dumbtoni got outcoached. Again.

 

Hopefully MDA learns from his failed experiment

I don't know why we play the all dawrf lineup anymore. Can't rebound can't guard centers

 

You could still play your two "shooters" with either big man. I just don't get it . Basketball is a simple game.

 

Ilyasova literally killed us btw, he got 13 and 11 with 6 on 8 shooting, all in 20 minutes...

Also crazy that Russ in the end shoot 7 on 17 while James and Eric combined for 5 on 32...yes, that's right, 6 on 32.

 

And the Rockets as a team played badly. Westbrook is poison. He's never gonna win anything.

 

If Keep Capela on the floor we will not lose this game
