Thats about the average TO per game those teams cause. It wasn't us, it was them. Nothing has changed.
That's silly, when the Rockets are usually being last in turnovers, whose fault is it, the Rockets. Assuming when they were getting way too many turnovers, they were usually over the teams average for turnovers forced, why shouldn't they receive credit for improvement?
I guess playing teams that are notorious for NOT causing TOs has no effect on the fact that we didn't have many. Thats just stupid to think one doesn't have an effect on the other. But you think the way you want to. Even though Cleveland and Portland cause 12 TOs a game we only had 9...which is 3 less. Thats good. Seattle cause about 14 we had 11, again 3 less. Thats good too. We did well in the TOs these games, but when we have numbers like this against Denver and Memphis I'll give a little credit...a 5 game lower TO rate against some of the worst OPP TO teams in the league is nothing to get excited about. I'd be happier if we could end the season like this.
Dude, why do you even watch games if you can't at least admit that the team has improved in something. It must be miserable for you. Just for the record, they had 3 fewer turnovers than each of those teams cause on average. And lastly, that's fewer than any team has on average. So you can say I'm looking at it the way I want, but I'm sure most intelligent people will say that's an improvement.
Just because our players do something for a few games doesn't mean they've solved their problems. Should I get all hyped up about this progress just to see them turn the ball over 20 times tomorrow? This 5 game stretch is more of an exception than the mean. Why the hell are you jumping on me about this anyways? Hell, you SOFs never get fired up whenever Yao has a great game, you just talk about the competition he does it against..Orlando, Atlanta, New York. You talk about intelligence in seeing what you think is the obvious, I see you choose to use that little talent selectively.
I thought we were talking about the HUGE drop in TOs in the past 5 games...I didn't think that was anything to get excited about because we'll probably have more TO later. If you want me to reply on the season as a whole then yes we've improved slowly and thats great. Thanks for the suprise moron.
Yeah, and I said this 5 game stretch isn't indictative of this season. It isn't. It'd be great if they could sustain this more than 6% of the season. LOL, and I'm not mad, thats just how I reply to smartasses.
And no team member has been hit by "space junk" in the last five games either! Wow, I feel a statistical trend coming on.

Opp. after all-star break No. of turnovers

Wizards 18

Hawks (3 OT) 18

Spurs 17

Cavaliers 10

Trailblazers 10

Supersonics 11

Lakers 13

Timberwolves 12
avg turnovers per game before ASG : 16.42 avg turnovers per game after ASG : 13.625 (including the 3 ot Hawks game) I give credits to JVG and Steve. They are successfully correcting the biggest weakness of our team ! Let's hope ther trend continues !
