For the complainers, I don't know what to tell you. This draft has been perfectly fine and we are totally on pace to finish on time. The only true hiccup really has been getting ditched by @Yaniv, who is probably arrested in an Israeli prison or something. As I have said before, if another vet wants to step up and run this thing, more power to you (not Garner though, who would probably just cut everyone after a 3 minute late pick... lol ). With a young kid and another on the way, I really am just keeping it going for tradition's sake at this point. I do enjoy this, though, or I wouldn't bother. One thing I have learned over the last two decades is that there really is no perfect solution that will work for everyone, and live drafts, pausing the timer, skipping vs. not skipping, etc. would cause just as many annoyances and/or disadvantages for others. I don't think there is any major problem with the current format at all, but I guess if enough people kick up a fuss, we can change it next year... whatever. It's fine with me.
Dafuq you fools. Why would you stop the clock during your midnights? How about guys like me with exactly 12-hour difference? It takes a little bit of effort to check the board every few hours during the draft but that is just 1 week for the entire NBA season.. i cant wait to destroy your weak ass teams
the point people are making is that you shouldn’t miss your pick because it hit between 1 - 5am. That should apply to you in your time zone as well.
