San Antonio. downtown has these everywhere and unlike the Bcycle in Houston, the scooters in SA are not docked. It really is like the south park episode on scooters. It's a mess.

I started taking rail a little over a year ago in hopes to ditch driving altogether. Now I'm at a point where I only drive once a week on normal weeks. The problem I face is the very long walk home and work from the station. I can walk but I would have to wake up much earlier and leave work a bit early, which I would rather not do. I used to take my bike on the rail with me, but past few months, that has proven to be difficult since rail is always full and sometimes I have to wait longer with a bike. This is where I think a scooter could be very useful for someone like me. Plus, lately, I've seen an uptick of private scooters inside the loop and in the area I work. I haven't made up my mind yet, which is why I'm curious to know how people use theirs.
