I gave up on chinese slave baby Nike gear a while back. Same for Apple. I'm not perfect but I do try to support ethical brands.

Please don't use them while driving. Especially at a stop light.

Is that what people are doing? I assumed that with all the crap in our water people just were admiring their glowing genitalia. I mean, if my penis glowed in the dark, I would be fascinated by it.

With Nike and Under Armour off the table for obvious reasons, I don't know what to get.

Outdoor Voices for workout gear. A bit more expensive than the big boys, but you get what you pay for. Uniqlo is a bit iffy due to being fast fashion, but their workout stuff is great and incredibly cheap.

just search google for ethical brands and you'll get tons of info. aside from that, buying resell/used/refurbished is also beneficial.
