I figure it's time I had my carpet cleaned but don't know where to start. How do you avoid the crappy carpet cleaning services? Any tips?
GEORGE: Alright, I gotta go home and open up with the house for the carpet cleaners. You know they're doing my whole place for twenty-five dollars. KRAMER: Oh, no, no, no. Not the Sunshine Carpet Cleaners? EGO: Yeah, you heard of 'em? KRAMER: They're a crazy religious cult. The carpet cleaning is just a means for them to get into your apartment. GEORGE: So? For a twenty-five dollar cleaning, I can listen to some pointless blather.
moe...that is classic And I would also suggest Dirt Free....my brother had them clean his house and said they did an awesome job.
I wouldn't call it "bad". We've owned our new house for two years and haven't had it steam cleaned yet. We own a cat and have a four month old who will be crawling soon so I figured I should get it cleaned.
Invest in a Kirby vacuum cleaner with the shampoo kit. You'll never rent another machine or pay professionals again. We have the Kirby G-6, the Cadillac of vacuum cleaners.
Never owned or seen a Rainbow, so I can't compare (BTW, have you owned or seen a Kirby?). I know that my Kirby brings our carpets back to life every time we use it.
I used to sell them about 4-5 years ago to make extra money. We love our Rainbow and most Kirby owners love there Kirby. I'm sure they are both good products.
Bothe Kirby and Rainbow are good. I remember my mom thought her carpet was as clean as a whistle and then she used a Kirby on it and WHOA!
Hey, remember it was Dirt Free Venturi, I've been listening to 610 too much. Anyway, its funny you started this thread today, we bought a Stanley Steamer on sale at Foley's for $150 around Thanksgiving, and used it for the third time last night. They work pretty well and are pretty easy to use. If you can, its not a bad investment. But like I said, that was a sale.
Aren't those things like $800?? My best friend down in McAllen just bought one. He said the sales lady almost guilted him into buying it. She made it sound like she would lose her job if he didnt buy one from her.
