I just wanted a discussion regarding TB's bullpen. How was it that seemingly they could insert any one of 12 guys and they were generally all effective?

    Dot on usage strategy?
Great signings in the FA landscape?
    Great internal coaching?
Or merely a bunch of guys who pitched out of their minds and are not really as good as they seemed?

In my opinion it was great strategy and very good execution by TB pitchers

Not having to face hitters the same time in one game , staying rested, L/R matchups , pitch type match ups.

TB really threw the kitchen sink at us .

They have great starters as well , and pressure was a factor as our number of outs dwindled

Overall , I don’t think you can replicate that strategy with those (very good ) parts over a 7 game series.

We saw the Astros hit it well in the 8th and that’s because we’ve started to see the same relievers again and again.

TB made lemonade with the lemon of a budget they had. Their pitching overall was superb!

They should be proud of an excellent season.

Manager put guys into the game not named Miley. Astros had more relievers without giving up a run that series. Wouldn't be quite as effective as they had a couple more guys, but Astros have a better pen than most give them credit.

Pretty sure the Astros top three guys are in the top 11 for reliever WHIP.
