    Yes, he purposefully devalued his owners business a few hundred million (that's Darren Rovell's estimate) in order to make his owner become even further into the luxury tax in the future!!

    Good ole Nate Silver logic. Next he'll tell you who will win the next presidential election!!!!

    My biggest concern is this makes Tilman even less likely to pay LT in the future.

    Actually this is the probably going to be the most significant outcome of this whole China fiasco -- reduced revenue leading to reduced salary cap going forward. JH and RW will combine to make $90 million in a few years. Add EG's and CC's contracts on top of that and we will be very close to the luxury tax threshold if not over it. If you think Tilman has been cheap before wait till he has to pay LT.
