you're embarrassed for a team currently winning in a series lol. you should probably stop watching the playoffs then. they could score 50 runs. it still wouldn't matter

Our offense is severely lacking right now. Hopefully this game was a gut check that we won’t have JV and Cole on the mound.

Rays are showing why they are 2nd only to the Dodgers in team ERA for the regular season.

its crazy how bad our offense is right now.. Wow.. especially with runners in scoring position..
to many times we have had 2 men on with 0 outs and we cant bring them in.. its getting worrisome.

And Cole will be on full rest for a potential Game 5.

If the bats get on a roll we will be in good shape.

Springer, Brantley, (whoever is playing RF- Tucker/Reddick), and even Altuve to an extent have been cold. If we get get 2-3 out of those 4 to get rolling and we will be good to go. When those guys get hot they damn near unbeatable (except for Reddick and maybe Tucker - lack of track record).

Thought behind starting JV game 4?

"One of the best pitchers in the world. No more complicated than that. He's ready. It's his game. We have a backup plan in game 5 if we need it. He's one of the best pitchers in the world. It's pretty simple."

JV was asking Hinch for the ball tomorrow in the 4th inning today, said “I will end it tomorrow” lol. MLBN just showed the video.

Well a little bit of guess work on exact words said, but that was basically what happened. Hinch and JV decided this in the 4th.
