If tilman fires Morey over this he’s:
    1) yellow
    2) greedy for china’s Dolllar (i.e, cheap)
    3) un-American

    I will never forgive him.

Hong Kong people are skinnier compared to San Francisco and Houston.

Very easy to to tell. Especially the chicks. Very flat

The Golden Horde killed 1/4 of the world's population. Let's set this as the bottom line of humanity. As long as China doesn't surpass this they are good to go.

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
The amount of excuses I see in this thread is appalling. Don't you have any shame making such posts? Justifying genocide!

I hope you don't walk around freely in western modern society because your mindset is a danger to my safety.

Rockets fans outside of China would be FURIOUS if there were any repercussions for Daryl Morey just because he spoke the truth.

    Take note, Tillman.

This was rhetoric but to answer your question NO they aren't the same race- according to the chinese mainstream mindset.

They also speak a diferent language, which the government has been killing systematically.
However they are too many so it's difficult to get rid of them so they have started of with the poor Uyghurs.

People in China only see censored truth about HK. Some of them don’t even know what HK people is protesting for. They have never had true democracy or freedom of speech, so it is understandable why they have a biased view towards this issue. However, the western media also has a very biased coverage about China in general which leads to stereotype. In a sense, westerners only get censored information as well because most of the people don’t read Chinese news. The HK problem is complicated- most protesters are definitely fighting for their rights and they are not terrorists, but some of them do have their own political agenda and promote violence.

Any argument you enter will be a waste of time for both parties, simply because your argument is misleading and relies on logical fallacies.

For instance, human rights violations is not a domestic issue, it’s a human one. That’s why an international body was made to investigate them. Any claim that relies on that statement is arguing in poor faith.

If you actually present a compelling argument for why China is allowed to steal organs from others, I’ll change my mind and support you and China. Do you have any evidence?

Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of the press have nothing to do with capitalism and/or communism. These are basic rights that should be afforded to all. Protesting is exercising speech. Anyone who believes differently than that can kindly find another team in another country to root for.

Just imagine if the US passed a law that said you were only allowed to watch CNN. Small militias all over rural America would make governing what was left of the US literally impossible.

“The HK problem” is exactly as complicated as every human rights issue before it. There’s the right side, and the side that justifies taking away people’s rights.

Obviously people will always take advantage of situations for personal gain. That doesn’t change what the right thing to do is.

No we don't need to know chinese to know the mindset of the people of China on most issues.
They export right now their own entertainment around the world.
We don't need journalists when they are parading around their ideals for the world to see.
I don't base my opinions on what only I read in the news, I base my opinion on what I read and watch on the CHINESE media itself.

    Blatant racism
    Ethnocentrism
    Misogynism
Justifying of genocides, and attrocities against minorities.

It's very shocking what passes for normal there.
