Lakers Wendesday, Wolves Friday, Mavs sunday.... I think its safe to say our season can be summed up by what we do here. I would really impressed if we could pull out 2 out of the 3, Lakers and Mavs are our best bet....If we lose all 3 is all hope lost? I know its expected for us to lose, but I hope or morale doesnt sink to far that we tank the season. there are a lot of posters out there that think seasons over, and I wanna prove them wrong but winning 2 of the next 3. Any thoughts? David
Not really. We still have plenty of home games left after the Mavs. Even if we go 0-3, we could easily go 5-0 in the next 5 to keep the pace.
0-3 for the next 3 games....the Rockets nosedive the rest of the way and miss the playoffs. Remember what happened last year after a crushing loss to the Lakers? Well, history repeats itself this year.
Realistically, I'd say 0-3. The Lakers and Wolves are playing their best ball of the season right now and the Mavs own the Rockets. The Lakers' stars know that they're 0-2 against the Rockets on national TV this season and I expect a statement from them on Wednesday especially after their last match up in which Yao upstaged Shaq. Still, of the three, I think the Rockets' best chance to steal a win will be against the Mavs.
People who think Mavs are Rockets' best chance need to wake up! Rockets just don't have any answer for perimeter-oriented teams. Check our record against Kings, Mavs, Sonics, Memphis! 0-9! Lakers are the best best. T-wolves next.
Most likely 0-3, however we may steal a win over Lakers or Twolves. Memphis will pull away a bit after next three games, but they have a tougher schedule in April. So we still get a chance to pass them.
just like we lost to worse teams accasionally, we might steal one or couple against better ones. The reasonable guess is 1 win 2 losses. if we can do that, i am very happy <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_2.gif' border=0></a>
According to the rosters, we have a better chance of beating LA than the Mavs. We just can't play against run-and-gun teams.
I say we go 1-2, we have to beat at least one of them. I wouldn't be suprised if we lose all 3 either
1-2 is what I am thinking. I would love a 2-1 though, that would be sweet. If we could be Minn then I would so want to face them in the first round.... Here's to a couple more Nuggz loses.
2-1 steve will have a big game @ la we well defend the wolves like last time and we wont cover the three agaisnt the mav and finley will have 50 points like always.
it must be total in two games we are going to play against mavs? <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/27/27_1_3.gif' border=0></a><a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/27/27_1_6.gif' border=0></a> in each game.
These posts are always the funniest. I don't see why people fail to see that the Mavericks OWN the rockets. Regular season, playoffs, it don't matter. Shawn Bradley always neutralizes Yao = GG owned.
