James Harden's greatest ability will always be to make complete strangers, "experts" and grown men cry.

There is not this much backlash unless there is something special going on.

I was annoyed after reading that piece. These guys can’t appreciate one of the greatest scorers in history.

But is being historically innovative good enough? Where the perennial MVP takes his game, and the Rockets, from here will define his legacy.

Hint, if you call a guy a "Perennial MVP" - you've already "defined his legacy"

    h/t - Clyde Drexler

    Why were you annoyed?
It was a good article, nothing we didn’t already know. Harden always comes w a new move and improves every year. Though man people hate on him he is a great player and his legacy in the media’s eyes won’t change until he wins a championship. Which he will win this year :). Believe it :p

Always credit the media for their backhanded labels to Jim and the Rockets FO.

Just like how Murry "brilliantly circumvented the salary cap" regarding the Nene signing.

Article might be complimentary, but to "not show bias", gotta get their digs in just to set things straight...

This article isn’t meant to compliment James.
Same old narrative with a little sugar on top. He will never get the credit he deserves for being an all time scorer without someone sliding in some comments about how he has mastered the art of skating the rules. He was way ahead of the curve with mastering the gather. That’s not his fault. I wish people would get over it.

If he played for the Lakers, he would be considered one of the greatest.
