pgabs, you answered my question by quoting another poster? That is a new one. My question was obviously rhetorical. I am well aware that the Big 12 did not exist for the 94-95 basketball season. You tried to take credit for 'scooping' the exposure, when in fact I beat you to the punch. Simple as that.
Great Trader, you won the exposure contest. You get the credit since your life is apparently so empty that you needed it pointed out. And for the record, everthing "eludes my eardrums" on this web site.
Haha and what makes it such a classic for you, keeley, is that I posted something about Miami football! LOL!
My life is full of ABUNDANCE. It is a virtual cornacopia of excesses. "Everthing" must elude your optic nerve, retina and pupil as well.
Careful, Owlman, glass houses & all. OSU last shared a conference title in '90-'91, and last won a title outright in 1965.
What corruption or trouble with the law are you referring to in the Rice program? I certainly hope you are not referring to the unsubstantiated publicity stunt which was later retracted by the stripper-for-hire company.
Anyone have a link to the official NCAA Basketball rulebook? I'm still curious whether or not the feet have to cross the line or just the ball.
Section 9. (Men) 10-Second Violation Art. 1. An inbounds player (and his team) shall not be in continuous control of a ball that is in his back court for 10 consecutive seconds. A.R. 14. (Men) A1 is in the back court and has dribbled for eight seconds when he passes the ball forward toward A2 in the front court. While the ball is in the air, going from back court to front court, the 10-second count expires. RULING: Violation. The ball shall be awarded to Team B at a designated spot nearest to where A1 was standing when he threw the ball. A.R. 15. (Men) With A1 in his team’s back court and while being pressured by B1 during an attempt to advance the ball, the official reaches a seven count on A1. At this point, while A1 is still dribbling, B1 touches the ball and it goes back toward B’s basket. A1 retrieves the ball and continues to dribble. RULING: There has been no change in team control. The 10-second count shall continue. Hmm...
That is the Tournament Champion. The Big XII recognizes the regular season winner as that year's conference champion. OSU won the conference tourney during the Final Four year (1995), but didn't win the regular season.
You are right. It was Big 8 I don't follow the college hoop much. But as an OSU alumnus, a little exaggeration would be forgiven
