I agree with you that conservatives who do spectrum racist sh*t aren't given as much leeway as liberals who do the same sh*t.
Just like Trump was given leeway when he publicly stated they should look into taking guns away
Just like conservatives are given leeway when discussing cutting military spending
Just like any evangelist is given leeway by fellow evangelists when caught in a gay affair
Just like Trump is given leeway for every single thing that comes out of this mouth

But there is a very important difference: apologizing and acknowledging the wrong of the matter. Liberals do this, conservatives double and triple down.

There is so much press about this foolishness. What annoys me most is the pile-on by the other candidates. I don't think anyone in their right mind honestly believes that Trudeau is racist, but Scheer, Singh and May all continue to make him out to be the absolute devil. I really wish that one of them took the stance that, "Hey, Trudeau's policies are out to lunch and you should vote for me because of this, etc., but the costume and makeup he wore almost 20 years ago is too silly of an issue to even bother discussing."

 

When is the last time Trump apologized for anything?
