    Potentially, but as he said himself, it's now or never. Thad is a name I just grabbed out of the back of my head, but Nene on a large expiring + one (or both) of our 2020/2022 1st could net us a decent vet, potentially starting a quality player at the deadline.

    Our forward positions are absolutely anorexic right now with Green / House being potential bench warmers come playoffs, like last year.

    i wouldn't mind a thad young addition to the roster at all. but as far as putting butts in the seats, tilman is not gonna make his $ back on that acquisition, which seems to be his primary criteria for paying any lux tax

    Morey comes across looking like a fool now, this was not worth the risk though seems NBA league office decide in case to case basis what to do, no precedent needed or general rule. This is all ****ed but signing Nene just for the contract is also bull in my opinion.

    Morey tried, but I bet he works knowing that the NBA is always working against him. He will recover quickly I have no doubt. I bet he was stress testing the system to see if he could get away with it.
