What is, in hindsight, your worst basketball opinion ever?

I also thought Yao was one of those tall stiff that couldn't walk and chew gum at the same time.

Worst opinion was that eric Gordon was trash. I see that the boy can play but he does pout more than usual. The eric Gordon mannerisms
lengthen my tolerance for the bish-assness that steph curry brings to the table.

 

Scola is just a long haired p***y, flopping ass b**** for a player.

Seriously though: that the NBA is not entertainment, but really a league with integrity.

My worst is D'Antoni and 2nd worst is Carmelo for the Rockets.

 

Not mentioned on the site, but I thought Drew Gooden would be the best player of his draft.

I also was one of those people who thought Kawhi wouldn't be as good as he is away from the Spurs.

 

I thought KJ McDaniel would improve his shooting and become key piece for the Rox.

I thought Andrew Wiggins would be one of the top wings in the NBA.

 

I thought we were overpaying PJ at 8m a year

That Yao Ming would be more like Smits than Olajuwon
That T-Mac will never lead a team to a ring

That KJ McDaniels only needed playing time!

 

Bennett & Gordon will be serious scoring threats (20+ points each a night) and open up Westbrook’s game helping him to a 25 15 10 average. While Harden drops quite 35 points a night playing within the rhythm of the game. Everyone on the team plays less than 30 minutes a game; most nights the starters don’t see the fourth quarter because we are blowing out the other team by 30 points or more.

Legit thought Mirotic could be an All Star.

That was the beginning of last season.

Hmm.

 

Another one, I thought Zhou would at the very least be a backup big. Sure, he was skinny, but I saw the man shooting and blocking shots and thought he'd work into a more NBA body and would be a real gem.

Of course now he's out of the league and I doubt he trades being a superstar in China for playing in the gleague.

I also thought that Westbrook was a ball hog chucking PG that you could never win with, obviously, I'm wrong there and he's possibly one of the best players to ever do it.

 

To be fair Brent was pretty goood with the Wizards. We thought he would work out well. I was also excited about Antoine Big dog with the mean viziers Carr when we stole him from the hated jazz in 98-99 season but that didn’t workout well. Shandon Anderson much of the same next season.

 

Wanting Howard on the team.
