I agree with DOD. I am excited over every damn game. No doubt I get really happy when we win, and frustrated and mad when we lose. But even after a loss, I can't wait till the next game hoping for a win.

I watch everygame I can, and if I can't I try to listen to it, and if i can't hear of see it, I join the chat room........which is something I do just about every single game no matter if I can hear or see it....

    hence my nick ;)

but i am always proud and happy to be a rockets fan but i was truly excited once again when we got Yao because i knew that given 4 years with francis and mobley can rise to the elites of the league once more and that we would be inthe playoffs within the next two years ago. so far the latter assumption seems that it will be true

The entire season of 1994. The ultimate experience! Until Charles jump into the bandwagon and that's when the frustration started!!

The last time I was optimistic (!= "happy") about the club was just about a year ago.

The last time I was really happy (as a fan) was the day of the Phoenix win last season.

With one or two exceptions (The Laker win, the Portland victory), this season has been frustrating. Even worse, the JVG ball has made them unwatchable, and (IMHO) earned them the label "Knicks" much more than "Rockets."

How about that TWolves win? Utah win in OT? Atlanta win in 3 OTs [wasn't a great game, but fun to watch]?

    What he said.

Be glad that we are not in Las Vegas, that's right, they don't even have a team.

The sports experience is about passion not happiness, and passion can be high or low. Afterall every year, in every sport there is one winner and everyone else is a loser. It's like a zen thing, the joy is just the doing. When was the last time Cubs fans were "happy".

Besides, if we weren't living and dying with the Rockets we might have to be more involved in our own reality. (how dull)

Tomorrow Night! Every time we get a chance to beat LA is a very, very good day! I'm excited that we "might" make the playoffs. I'm excited that we've got a team that, win or lose, mostly seems to like each other: we're not on the sports blotters, we have a new building & getting more TV all the time: these may be the beginning of the "golden" era of the Ming/Francis duo and I'm excited to be watching. Sure I swear "WE SUCK" everytime we turn over the ball, miss a lay up, etc., but I LOVE the Rockets and these are the times to be a real fan!!!! Go Rockets!

I love everyting about the Rockets, what's not to love?

But to answer the question, I was happy seeing Rudy T. on the sideline. I'm not saying I don't like JVG, but I just don't think he is the right coach for this team. Everything seemed a lot easier and a points came by a lot easier w/ Rudy, only if we could combine JVGs defensive scheme with Rudy.
